Eligible institutions can receive:
🏫 Up to £2,000 per chargepoint socket (from 1 April 2026)
🔌 Funding for up to 40 sockets per institution
💷 Support covering up to 75% of purchase and installation costs
📅 Scheme open until 31 March 2027
This grant helps education providers reduce upfront costs while future-proofing their estate for staff, visitors, fleet vehicles, and the growing shift to electric transport.
Installing EV chargepoints can also support wider sustainability goals and demonstrate real commitment to net zero strategies in education.
